Our clients are a Reputed Fortune 500 MNC Hyderabad. They have requirements for SCADA Software Database Engineer
Essential Functions (Responsibilities): A SCADA Software Database Engineer responsible for the database analysis, database design, database access, optimization and maintenance. Software engineer works closely with SCADA development team and control system design engineers to ensure the product design will be competitive and meet product specifications. Selected individual will be required to make technical presentations to peers and managers on the details of the design and project implementation status.
Qualifications/Requirements: BE / BTech Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical, Automation Engineering (or similar field) with particular emphasis on real time data acquisition and database design with 3 to 5 years of exp
· Excellent knowledge of database design and configuration ·
Proficient in MS SQL, Stored Proc, optimization and maintenance ·
Knowledge in C/C++ or Delphi, VB, and SQL is a plus ·
MCDBA is advantage ·
Knowledge of SCADA system and real time control design and implementation ·
Understanding of SCADA protocols and their use and application ·
Experience with Network protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP, FTP, SNTP, Email, ODBC) ·
Operating System proficiency, Windows 2000 Server, Linux, Unix ·
Experience with monitoring, control and automation hardware and software · Team player with strong communication skills ·

Strong English skills (verbal and written), other languages are advantage · Ambitious, smart worker; self-starter, who delivers results with minimal supervision · Meets or beats schedule and quality targets · Analytical thinker
Desired: · Understanding of electric utility transmission and distribution systems · Ability to work in a global team environment to integrate solutions · Knowledge of industrial controls and monitoring systems · Oracle, MS SQL, and ODBC experience
